Family Tea Parties
The Tea Parties are an opportunity for families with young children to celebrate the festivals with Rabbi Neil Janes and EJ Cohen (Director of Education).  The format each time is roughly the same.  Children arrive after school at about 4:30pm and can have a drink and biscuit if wanted!  There is usually a delightful buzz in the air with music playing and small individual activities while more children arrive.  We then have a short activity to take us up to 5pm when we stop for 'Tea'.  Families are invited to bring a 'non-meat' dish to share with other children.  Then at about 5:30pm we conclude the activities as families, sing some songs and say goodbye at 6pm.  On days when there is a festival service in the evening, this means that families can choose to stay for the 'service' if they wish.
