An Educational Mission Statement
Our vision is to create a supportive community for lifelong learning at Finchley Progressive Synagogue where everyone is invited to engage with us in Jewish learning regardless of prior knowledge or experience. Our Education will uphold the affirmations of Liberal Judaism and will be inclusive, intellectually rigorous and responsive to the changing world. Members of our community will be empowered to make Liberal Jewish choices – in practice and beliefs – in order to live Liberal Jewish lives. Education will be integrated into all aspects of communal life and experiences and will strengthen the connection between the home and the community, linking individuals to our community and to the greater world.
