Rikud
If you are between the ages of 6 and 16 and enjoy dancing then FPY have a group for you!
If you think Israeli dancing means moving around in a circle with an occasional clapping of hands then we have news for you.
Rikud is an Israeli dance group with a difference.
We choreograph dances to Israeli pop and traditional music as well as socialising and having fun. We learn modern Israeli dances which are currently being danced in Israel and choreograph dances to American Jewish songs like Debbie Freedman and Jeff Klepper.
We perform in shows and festivals and help to spread Israeli culture in the community. We also have a cool new costume to wear!
Sound interesting? Then come along and see what it’s all about. We meet every Saturday at the Synagogue before FPY 3.30 – 5.30.
For more details contact Hannah via the synagogue office.
