Shofar
Shofar is the Magazine of Finchley Progressive Synagogue. It consists of news, information, features and shorter articles. The magazine is sent each month to FPS members.
The FPS Calendar for the month shows on one full page all the entries of happenings, day by day for the month. Every issue contains pieces from the Rabbi and the Chair of FPS.
Features include contributions from members on cultural social and other events in which they have participated. These are sometimes ones which have taken place at the synagogue but also include presentations following events elsewhere, such as trips to places of interest in Israel and elsewhere.
Shofar is produced each month by a group of volunteers from FPS members and it is very important in helping all members to know what is and will be going on in the synagogue.
